Couple Therapy
Strengthen Your Relationship with Science
Many couples care deeply about each other, yet still experience conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional distance. Often, stress and frustration begin quietly, long before they appear in words or behavior.
Our approach introduces a new way to understand these moments.
Using the ela headband, a comfortable EEG device, both partners’ brain activity is measured during conversations. The system tracks signals related to stress, attention, and emotional regulation in real time. It does not read thoughts, but it can detect when someone becomes overwhelmed, tense, or emotionally disengaged.
AI‑Guided Support
The system is supported by an AI Therapist that analyzes brain signals from both partners during the session.
The AI can:
- Detect rising stress or emotional overload
- Identify moments of disconnection
- Suggest short pauses, breathing, or slowing down the conversation
- Help guide the interaction so discussions stay calm and constructive
This allows couples to notice emotional shifts before conflict escalates.
How It Works
During a session, both partners wear the Ela headband while talking with each other.
The system observes how their brain patterns change and how closely their responses align.
When both partners are calm and engaged, their brain activity often becomes more synchronized, a sign of connection. When stress rises, those patterns drift apart.
With real‑time feedback and AI guidance, couples can pause, reset, and reconnect during the conversation.
What Couples Gain
Through repeated sessions, couples learn practical skills that improve their relationship:
- Recognizing early signs of tension
- Staying calm during difficult conversations
- Communicating more clearly
- Recovering faster from disagreements
- Building stronger emotional alignment
A New Direction for Couples Therapy
The goal is not to eliminate disagreements. Healthy relationships naturally include differences.
The goal is to help couples stay connected, regulated, and understanding, even during challenging conversations.
By combining brain monitoring, AI guidance, and therapeutic practice, this approach helps couples develop healthier communication and a more stable emotional connection.
