Duet
Mindfulness, Shared
Mindfulness doesn’t always have to be a solo experience.
Duet allows two people to take part in a shared ela session while each participant wears an ela EEG headband.
During the experience, EEG-based session information from both participants can be presented alongside guided prompts and activities, creating a new way to practice mindful attention and intentional communication together.
AI-Guided Experience
An AI-powered guide supports the Duet experience by providing prompts and activities during the session.
Depending on the activity, the AI guide can:
- Suggest a short mindful pause
- Introduce a simple breathing exercise
- Encourage slower, more intentional conversation
- Provide prompts for reflection
- Help participants stay engaged with the shared activity
The goal is to make the experience more structured, interactive, and easy to follow.
How Duet Works
During a Duet session, both participants wear an ela headband while taking part in a shared activity.
Each headband captures EEG signals, while Duet presents selected EEG-based session indicators from both participants.
Participants can observe how these patterns change throughout the session and explore selected measures of similarity between their EEG activity.
AI-powered prompts and real-time feedback help structure the experience and encourage mindful attention, reflection, and intentional communication.
Explore Duet Together
Through shared sessions, Duet gives two participants a new way to practice mindfulness, explore EEG-based session patterns, and engage in guided activities together.
- Practicing mindful attention together
- Taking guided pauses during shared activities
- Exploring selected EEG-based session patterns
- Following reflection and communication prompts
- Building a consistent shared mindfulness routine
